And Track Chic was there in style Memorial Day weekend to cheer its three favorite females, Duno, Fisher & Patrick onto victory.  Rain failed to spoil Saturday’s IRL 500 Festival Parade Downtown Indianapolis to the joy of 300,000+ fans who glimpsed all 33 starting drivers, colorful floats and lively marching bands.

History was made Sunday when, for the first time ever, these three determined women answered the starter’s call, “LADIES and gentlemen, Start Your Engines!”, and competed for the record $10+million purse.  Soggy Track Chic fans continued to cheer these resolute women through rain delays, caution flags and threatening weather conditions.  Rain eventually called the race declaring Dario Franchitti the winner ...  our own Danica Patrick finished 8th, Sarah Fisher 18th and Milka Duno 31st!
